ITALIAN WINE

If you like wine, you've most likely had Italian wines already. Truly, nothing goes better with Italian food than Italian wine. From the finest Chianti to the cheapest Lambrusco, red sauce and red wine are a dynamite duo. You can't really go wrong. Every region will have its own wine, and there are too many to even begin discussing here. A few popular wine types that you'll be able to find imported to the United States are: Chianti, Valpolicella, Sangiovese, Barolo, Nebbiolo, Amarone, and Barbera. Then, of course, you'll find blends of all these types, like half Sangiovese and half Valpolicella, which will bring forth a whole new wine. Also, do not shun the "table wine" classification. They are great wines and usually very inexpensive. They are perfect for throwing larger parties.
