In a lot of Greek restaurants, it is customary to head back to the kitchen to see what's cooking. It's an alternative form of menu, basically. You can see what's going on back there and order whatever looks good. Just try to remember the name of it on your walk back to your table. Otherwise, you could be in trouble and get something you didn't like.

When entertaining at home, it might be fun to invite your guests back into the kitchen and show them what you're cooking. Or maybe it will be more like telling them what you're cooking. After all, it's not like you're running a restaurant and they get to decide what they're eating. The nerve of some people!
